Sandy Dutko, Water Media Artist

 Sandy Dutko is a Portland Oregon Artist who enjoys painting in many mediums. Many of her recent works are in water-media and collage but she also likes to experiment with oils and pastels.  Her paintings have become more abstract in the past several years.  Her work varies from semi-abstract to pure abstract depending on the mood and encompasses many subject matter.

 Sandy’s approach to painting is experimental and she enjoys taking risks, believing that it leads to more interesting art and growth as an artist. 

Sandy is a member of Lake Area Artists, Watercolor Society of Oregon, Oregon Society of Artists, Painters Showcase of Portland, and Buffalo Grass Art Society.  She is also one of the twenty local artists at the Art on Broadway Gallery in Beaverton. Her work is exhibited yearly at “Art Affair” Lake Area Artists Annual Show, Painters Showcase and at the Buffalo Grass Society Annual Art Show. Sandy has also shown her work at the Oregon Society of Artists Gallery, Lake Oswego Festival of Arts, Southminster Presbyterian Celebration of Creativity Show, Rain Dance Ranch Gallery, and at the Portland Home and Garden Show. Her paintings have been juried into the River Sea Gallery, Manley Art Center, and the Elsinore Fine Art Gallery through the Watercolor Society of Oregon.

Sandy also conducts a monthly abstract critique group in her studio and belongs to several critique groups in the Portland area.
